This is my crocheted doll of Athena.(or Minerva, depending on which you prefer)
I've been reading the Percy Jackson series and have become even more obsessed with the Greek and Roman gods and goddesses.
Athena is the goddess of arts and crafts, battle of strategy, and reason and wisdom.
She took about 14 hours all together to finish.
The clothing and shield is all removable.
I've added her shield, Aegis. Aegis has the head of Medusa on it, which scares back enemies, mentally turning them to stone so they don't attack.
I tried to make a palla, but the fabric is too thick and it doesn't wrap right.
