Description

EDIT: I've posted the pattern I created to crochet the llamas on my website! [link]

EDIT: OMG a DD?!?! Thank you :icontwiggyteeluck: for suggesting and :iconkubusrubus: for featuring!

I DID IT!!!! I have sent every person who faved this a llama badge! All 1000 and some of you! For the first time in days my inbox finally says 0 instead of like 600. :D

In only 3 days, I have crocheted a llama, an albino llama, and a golden llama, which is everything I needed to completely make my own dA llamas IRL, since I had all the costumes.

And for anyone who wants to know how each costume was made:
I have absolutely no idea. I hate patterns so each one was made by just starting a piece and keep on measuring around the llama, and some are made up of several pieces sewn together or some belong to two costumes. Stupid me never even thought to write down what I was doing...

But I got smart this time and actually wrote down what I did for the llamas so I would have 3 identical llamas in the end, but they won't make much sense to anyone else because they aren't real patterns. And even if I could put them into a real pattern, I wouldn't put them up here.

:iconllamajumpplz:Anyone who faves this will receive a llama to help spread the llama love! Of course, if you have already gotten one from me, obviously I can't give you another. (and receiving one back would be nice. ) :iconllamajumpplz:

I appreciate all comments, critiques, favs, and views!

Finally a dedicated llama creator I've never really written a critique for llamas, but I'll do my best.

The shapes of the llamas are very well done, not too realistic, but realistic enough that I knew exactly what it was when I first saw it. I can presume that these are the llamas in order of what you can get them, and each one looks a bit more 'grand' then the first... that it something special, that the artist has been able to capture the importance of the llamas as they go down. Some of the details are very, very well done, such as the 'inspector llama'; the little cap and eye-glass are simply superb, and then there's the llama with the purple bonnie cap, then the llama with the glasses. Really good!
Then the last two llamas are really funny, because the expressions remind me of llamas. that sort of 'um...um...hi?' expression was captured perfectly. Of course the one with the glasses is more like, 'um...yo...wassup...um...hi?' Really funny, good vision
The silvery-white background used was a really good choice, for the tone of most of the llamas was sort of warm colored, and the background has a cooler color.

All in all, it is also some of the better craftmanship I've yet seen, and that amount of work to make the figures themselves is something worth respect.
